Erika Kauzlarich-Bird

Erika’s exceptional ability to connect with people was evident at the tender age of 5.  Her parents had an insurance business, and her older sisters were involved in various associations.  If she wasn’t selling raffle tickets for the associations, she was running her parents business, or in front of a computer learning every aspect.  This curly haired, very tenacious little girl, would not take “no” as an answer.   In 1996, at 19 years old, possessing that same tenacity, she tackled the real estate industry.   Working with her mom Diane, and both sisters, Tammy and Kathy, success was of no surprise to anyone.  Her abilities grew into becoming a broker in 2004, opening two companies, Real Estate Expediter, a transaction coordinating company and Triple D Realty.  Involving herself in the community, lead to serving as president of The Southland Regional Association of Realtors Santa Clarita Valley Division in 2012, and also a Board of Director in the San Fernando Valley since 2012.  Erika has been a CAR Director for Southland Regional Association of Realtors since 2014 and has also served as a key contact for 3 legislators in her district. Some of Erika’s achievements include the Presidents award for SRAR SCV in 2010, Realtor of the Year in 2011, Entrepreneur of the Year by WCR in 2012, Presidents award for SRAR 2021. Erika was inducted in to the RE/MAX Hall of Fame in 2019 ($1,000,000 in GCI in 2 years), and remains an active working agent for her current company Equity Union.   

 

Erika would say her greatest success and fulfillment comes from being a mother, to her daughter Kailey, and a wife to a very supportive husband, Brandon.  That love and support from her family, gives her the strength and ability to soar in all areas of her life.  Being raised in a western lifestyle, her spare time is spent on her horse, competing as often as she can.  A balanced lifestyle lived with passion, a positive attitude, and the ability to live without fear, are attributes that keep Erika on the trail of success.
